Shaggy performed at the Zanzibar International Film Festival (ZIFF) in Tanzania and he treated patrons to a hot show. The attendees loved the concert! Dailynews writes: “Throughout the entire performance Shaggy was able to keep the audience under his spell”! The Citizen writes: “Shaggy’s sold out concert [saw a] ground breaking first time performance in Zanzibar by Shaggy!”

Shaggy, Chaka Khan, Jamelia, Chinese martial-arts skilled shaolin monks, Kerela’s kalaripayattu artists and Japanese drummers and dancers will perform at the 30 minutes opening ceremony of the Champions League Twenty20 on October 8. Shaggy will perform his official UEFA EURO 2008 #1 hit single Feel the Rush! He will be accompanied by a multi-coloured laser show and eight wind dancers. According to syedmahdzar, Shaggy, Beenie Man, Buju Banton, Bushmen, Coco Tea, Rita Marley and other artists will perform on the Singapore Reggae Festival 2009 on Sentosa Siloso Beach, Singapore on October 17. As soon as there is official confirmation of this, we’ll post about it, of course.
