Shaggy to People Summer09 Il Tempio di Atlantide
Shaggy will perform on the People Summer09 Tempio di Atlantide in Montepaone Lido, Catanzaro, Calabria, South Italy on August 18, according to among others Excite and Check Sound Service.

Shaggy and Gary Nesta Pine at The Dome
Shaggy and Gary Nesta Pine will perform on The Dome 51 in the Anxess Arena in Cologne, Germany on August 21. Other artists to perform are Sunrise Avenue, Livingston, Lovestoned, Milow, Emiliana Torrini, David Guetta feat. Kelly Rowland, Culcha Candela, Cinema Bizarre & Space Cowboy, Youtube-Hype-Girl Eva Simons, Justin Bieber, The Dome-Urgestein Scooter, Frauenarzt & Manny Marc, Eisblume and Cascada. North Cyprus concert review and photo
HaberFX wrote a review of Shaggy’s concert last night at the Dance FM Beach Party at Club Mansion, Cornaro Beach, North Cyprus. Over 5000 people attended the show, that had impressive fireworks and a hugely successful Shaggy concert. Havadis Kibris also has a review and photo of the show!

Shaggy returns to Romania on August 1
After the huge success of his first 2009 concert on July 10 at the Turabo Society Club in Bucharest, Shaggy will be back for another concert in Romania on August 1! This time the concert will be in club Bamboo, Mamaia, and it looks like he’s gonna bring his entire band. Sources Cancan, Revista VIP and (with pop-up ads but pictures as well) Mediafax. Shaggy will also perform in Club Heaven Outdoor in Timisoara, Romania, according to Agenda.ro (no MySpace confirmation yet for either of these dates).

Shaggy wins Marcus Garvey Humanitarian Award at the IRAWMA 2009
Shaggy was honored with the Marcus Garvey Humanitarian Award at the IRAWMA 2009 (International Reggae And World Music Awards) for his humanitarian work! Shaggy has been supporting the the Bustamente Hospital for Children in Kingston, Jamaica for years and he organized Shaggy & Friends, a huge benefit concert, for the hospital, he recorded a single with fellow Jamaican artists, Save a Life, for the cause and did much, much more. Congratulations on a well deserved award to Shaggy!

Shaggy’s African tour in May
Shaggy’s official Myspace has the following dates on which Shaggy will perform in Africa in May:

May 21 Fairground Holdings, Gaborone, Botswana
May 22 Harare Rainbow Towers, Harare, Zimbabwe – more info
May 23 Orange Karnival and Lugogo Cricket Oval, Uganda

This means both South African tour dates will probably not be taking place.

Botswana concert and tickets info
Shaggy will perform at Fair Grounds in Botswana on Ascension Day, May 21. He’s the first international artist to visit the country since Shabba Ranks’ visit in 1994! Tickets will only be sold before the concert from Orange shops for P220 and P440, starting April 24. Botswana Daily News.

Uganda concert info
Shaggy will perform in Uganda on May 23, at the Orange Karnival that starts at 9 am at Shoprite Lugogo. Later that day, Shaggy will also perform at the afterparty at the Lugogo Cricket Oval at 4 pm. Shaggy’s official Myspace confirmes this new tour date! You can find more info and view a picture of Shaggy at Uganda Online.
