Shaggy gave a very exclusive and energetic live concert at the P.C. Richard and Son Theater in New York last night!
Shaggy performed hits like Boombastic, Angel, Strength of a Woman, Big Up and Church Heathen as well as songs from his upcoming album Summer in Kingston, such as the awesome Sugarcane, Fired Up (Forget the Rece$$ion) and Feeling Alive!
Shaggy told the audience that his new album Summer in Kingston will be available on iTunes on July 19! The first single from the album is the awesome Sugarcane, which sounds as amazing live as it does on record!
During the concert, Shaggy recognized a girl in the audience who had had a heart transplant and asked her to get on stage. Shaggy had visited her, sat by her side and gave her support while she was in the hospital. Very sweet!

The Chain of Hope organisation provides children, suffering from life-threatening disease, with the surgery and treatment to which they do not have access in their own country. Shaggy to perform at the Cricket League Twenty20 Opening Ceremony
Shaggy, Chaka Khan, Jamelia, Chinese martial-arts skilled shaolin monks, Kerela’s kalaripayattu artists and Japanese drummers and dancers will perform at the 30 minutes opening ceremony of the Champions League Twenty20 on October 8. Shaggy will perform his official UEFA EURO 2008 #1 hit single Feel the Rush! He will be accompanied by a multi-coloured laser show and eight wind dancers. Shaggy returns to Romania on August 1
After the huge success of his first 2009 concert on July 10 at the Turabo Society Club in Bucharest, Shaggy will be back for another concert in Romania on August 1! This time the concert will be in club Bamboo, Mamaia, and it looks like he’s gonna bring his entire band. Sources Cancan, Revista VIP and (with pop-up ads but pictures as well) Mediafax. Shaggy will also perform in Club Heaven Outdoor in Timisoara, Romania, according to Agenda.ro (no MySpace confirmation yet for either of these dates).
