TEENage Shaggy interview
The Jamaica Observer’s TEENage spoke to Shaggy about his recent and upcoming endeavours, like his collaboration with Tessanne Chin on their new hot single Never Let Me Go. The top song in the German Reggae Charts of 2009 is Long Time, Shaggy’s song on the Street Bullies Riddim! It is the overall #1 on the reggae charts. I Can’t Fight This Feeling, Shaggy’s song on the Baddaz Riddim, is at #11 in the year charts! Trend Charts.

UK end of the decade charts!
Shaggy and Rik Rok’s huge hit It Wasn’t Me is the #1 selling R&B single in the UK of the 2000s! It also is the highest selling non-tv shows single of the decade and the #1 selling single of 2001. The Shaggy & Rayvon single Angel is in the top selling singles of 2001 as well and comes in at #10. Wow, what an achievement!

Shaggy & Friends concert
The Shaggy & Friends concert in benefit of the Bustamente Hospital for Children took place last weekend at the Lawns of Jamaica House. Flyer for the Shaggy & Friends charity concert in benefit of the Bustamente Hospital for Children's medical resources Double Dare to Care 2010The event started with an auction, after which Shaggy, Boyz II Men, Mario Winans, Joe, Machel Montano HD, Beenie Man, Baby Trish, Toots Hibbert, Ce’Cile, Alaine, Tessanne Chin, Mikal Rose, T.O.K., Sanchez, Mavado, Bounty Killer, Cham, Queen Ifrica, Chevaughn, Ding Dong, Ity & Fancy Cat, Dr Michael Abrahams, Blakka Ellis and many more were on stage. According to attendees, the concert was overall a huge success!

All proceeds of the concert will go to the Bustamente Hospital for Children, which is the only pediatric hospital in the West Indies. It lacks the resources to provide adequate care for sick children. By attending the hospital or contributing otherwise you can support this worthy cause! More info.
