Shaggy’s anti-HIV message
Shaggy taped an anti-HIV pro-safe sex message for MTV’s Staying Alive (he recently also did an anti-hiv pro-safe sex song “A Nuh U, A Nuh Me” with Ninja Man on the Big Yard Riddim). For more information on the Staying Alive campaign and on what you can do, go to the Staying Alive web site, Shaggy’s message is there as well at the blog and at Vlog It.Intoxication
Shaggy’s new 2007 upcoming album Intoxication might be released in Japan on August 8, other countries might follow later in August or even later this year. Although most sources write Intoxication will be released internationally near the end of August, a couple of German music stores now have Intoxication slated for release in the second week of October! I don’t know how much the track listings (bonus tracks) of the International Intoxication album will be different, but once I have more information I’ll post it here! More about the Intoxication album (or you can go here for more info).

Reggae Sumfest 2007 photo
Were you as curious as I was reading the Jamaica Observer’s description of the Reggae Sumfest 2007 in Jamaica (see my July 22 post)? Well, there’s at least one picture online right now, more will follow on several other sites. Pic of Shaggy, Ninja Man and more. I think Shaggy can wear orange clothes and still look good, don’t you?

BTW This is not the full song, it was taped from a radio show. This tune is still an unreleased promo of which several different versions exist. The full lyrics to the song are on this site.
