Shaggy to perform in New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut
NY, MA and CT, Shaggy will be near you for a concert in June!

June 9 Adidas Jamboree Concert, Randall’s Island, New York
Shaggy, Shabba Ranks, Richie Stephens and Faye-Ann Lyons are set to perform at the Adidas Jamboree concert at Randall’s Island in New York on June 9th! The concert will serve as a 50th anniversary celebration for both Jamaica and Trinidad. It’s taking place at the conclusion of the annual Adidas Grand Prix where Caribbean track stars and other world elite athletes will compete.

June 14 DJ Norie’s Summer Sunshine, B.B. King Blues Club & Grill, New York
Shaggy, Matisyahu and Laza Morgan are going to perform at DJ Norie’s Summer Sunshine at B.B. Kings in New York on June 14! Tickets are available on Ticketmaster.

June 15 The Wonderland Ballroom, Revere, Massachusetts
Shaggy, Gyptian, I-Octane, Serani, I-Octane, Laza Morgan and Cham are set to perform at The Wonderland Ballroom (formerly known as Club Lido) in Revere, Massachusetts on June 15. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster, get yours now!

June 16 The Brewery Exchange, Lowell, Massachusetts

Shaggy & Friends concert
The Shaggy & Friends concert in benefit of the Bustamente Hospital for Children took place last weekend at the Lawns of Jamaica House. Flyer for the Shaggy & Friends charity concert in benefit of the Bustamente Hospital for Children's medical resources Double Dare to Care 2010The event started with an auction, after which Shaggy, Boyz II Men, Mario Winans, Joe, Machel Montano HD, Beenie Man, Baby Trish, Toots Hibbert, Ce’Cile, Alaine, Tessanne Chin, Mikal Rose, T.O.K., Sanchez, Mavado, Bounty Killer, Cham, Queen Ifrica, Chevaughn, Ding Dong, Ity & Fancy Cat, Dr Michael Abrahams, Blakka Ellis and many more were on stage. According to attendees, the concert was overall a huge success!

All proceeds of the concert will go to the Bustamente Hospital for Children, which is the only pediatric hospital in the West Indies. It lacks the resources to provide adequate care for sick children. By attending the hospital or contributing otherwise you can support this worthy cause! More info.

Big Yard recording artist Christopher Martin represented the Shaggy Make a Difference Foundation in Deal or No Deal, a Digicel tv show in which contestants can try to win a lot of money. Shaggy & Friends Dare to Care 2010 Launch, New video! Street Bullie Riddim Mix

Street Bullies Riddim Mix video
A music video clip was shot for the Street Bullies Riddim! The video features Shaggy, Red Foxx, Christopher Martin, Ce’Cile and Vybz Kartel and was directed by Jay Will for Game Over Films. Carleene Samuels was the producer and the video was edited by I.AM.THE.KRITIK.

The video takes the viewers back to dancehalls from 1984 to 2009. First up in the video is Shaggy with Long Time. Then it’s Red Foxx ‘s turn with Bounce, followed by Chris Martin Vibe is Right, Ce’Cile Nah Stress and Vybz Kartel Slow Motion. You can watch the new video below!

Shaggy receives the Gleaner Honour Award!
The Jamaica Gleaner presented Shaggy with the Gleaner Honour Award for excellence in the category of voluntary service, for his extensive charity work for the Bustamente Hospital for Children. Double Dare: Shaggy & Friends Dare to Care 2010 Launch
On October 28 the launch of Shaggy and Friends I Dare You 2010 was held. A new Shaggy & Friends charity concert will be organized in 2010!

On January 1, a celebrity pre-party will be organized, featuring local artists, and on January 2 a new Shaggy & Friends charity concert will be organized! Papa San, Tanya Stephens, Michael Rose, Queen Ifrica, Sanchez, Ce’Cile, Toots Hibbert, Ding Dong, Cham, Machel Montano, Half Pint, Busy Signal, Beenie Man, US singer Joe and Ali Campbell (the former UB40 frontman) will perform!
