Shaggy’s going to give a special concert on his birthday alongside Gym Class Heroes and Pete Wentz (The Black Cards, Fall Out Boy) for the Coors Light Silver Bullet Express at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York! Sorry to disappoint you, New York fans: Tickets for this concert are not for sale.

The Coors Light Silver Bullet train, which has been featured in advertising for the past several years, is coming to life this weekend as the Silver Bullet Express brings legal-drinking-age consumers from throughout the Northeast to New York City for this exclusive concert at B.B. Kings in New York.

One of the Coors Light Silver Bullet Express trains will leave Washington, D.C., Saturday morning, stopping in Baltimore, Wilmington, Philadelphia and Trenton before arriving at Penn Station in New York this afternoon. The other train will start in Boston and make stops to pick up additional winners in Providence, New Haven and Stamford. Other winners, primarily from throughout New York, will travel via air and car to the event. Approximately 600 people will attend tonight’s party.

Shaggy is turning 42 this month and 42 Below is throwing him a birthday party at the Good God Small Club in Sydney on October 14! Shaggy will arrive in Australia on Tuesday (October 12) and he’ll be checking in on Foursquare, and dropping clues on Twitter and Facebook as to his whereabouts.

Each time he and his crew arrive at a new spot, the first 15 fans to find him and wish him “Happy 42 Below” will win tickets to his birthday party!

Shaggy will return to the Raggamuffin Festival in Australia and New Zealand in 2010! Shaggy, Wyclef Jean, Sly & Robbie, Julian Marley, Sean Kingston, Steel Pulse, Blue King Brown and House Of Shem will perform at the festival in January. For more information, check the official Ragamuffin Festival site for Australia and New Zealand. The Shakti Love Fest’s auction to raise more funds for the Shaggy Make a Difference Foundation continues until noon (Jamaican time) today, Shaggy’s birthday. If you want to purchase an item and help the Bustamente Hospital for Children, you can still do so for a few hours!
