Shaggy to the Raggamuffin Festival 2010
Shaggy will return to the Raggamuffin Festival in Australia and New Zealand in 2010! Shaggy, Wyclef Jean, Sly & Robbie, Julian Marley, Sean Kingston, Steel Pulse, Blue King Brown and House Of Shem will perform at the festival in January. For more information, check the official Ragamuffin Festival site for Australia and New Zealand. Tickets will be available starting October 20 at Ticketmaster Australia and New Zealand starting October 26. Here are the tour dates:

Shakti Love Fest auction and photos
The Shakti Love Fest’s auction to raise more funds for the Shaggy Make a Difference Foundation continues until noon (Jamaican time) today, Shaggy’s birthday. If you want to purchase an item and help the Bustamente Hospital for Children, you can still do so for a few hours!

Also, there are now more photos online of the performances at the Shakti Love Fest on Facebook, among others of Shaggy and Toots Hibbert sharing the stage (click on next for more photos of Shaggy).

Update: Bruck Up, Shaggy and Rayvon were just on! They were all sharply dressed and wearing sunglasses. Shaggy talked about his time in the Marines, Bruck Up spoke about his Jamaican background, Bruck Up and Shaggy performed their hot new single Sunglasses a.k.a. Shakti Love Fest photos

The Shakti Love Fest is a charity event that was organized on October 3 in association with the Shaggy Make a Difference Foundation for the benefit of the Bustamente Hospital for Children. You can view the first part of the photos of the Shakti Love Fest (Shaggy is on page 2 and 3) here and a five-page photo gallery of the Shakti Love Fest Launch on Facebook!

Shakti Love Fest and tour news

Shakti Love Fest on October 3
Shaggy will be at the Shakti Love Fest. The Shakti Love Fest is a charity event which will take place on October 2-4 in Kingston, Jamaica. It is hosted by the Shaggy Make a Difference Foundation, the Shakti Mind Body Fitness and Ocean Spray Wata and includes yoga, spinning, live music and more. All proceedings will be donated to the Bustamente Hospital for Children. Shakti Love Fest official site and Jamaica Gleaner.

Shaggy also visited the Shakti Love Fest Launch. The Jamaica Gleaner has an article with photos about the Shakti Love Fest Launch (and 2).

The Glow Club in St. Gallen, Switzerland is celebrating its one year anniversary with a live performance by Shaggy on October 31. You can find more info at the Glow Club official site. Lido Night Club, Revere on November 6 (confirmed)
