Shaggy to große Kipp-Roll-Fall Spektakel on Prosieben on the MMS Campus in Hürth, Germany
Shaggy will perform his new hot single Fly High live this Saturday, June 6 at Das große Kipp-Roll-Fall Spektakel on Prosieben, according to der Medien Verwerter!

The spectacle will be broadcast live at 20.15h on Prosieben TV and will also be shown on tv in Belgium, Holland, Norway and Sweden. You can get more info on the Prosieben special site, where you can also get tickets for the event. F.Y.I. The Prosieben site doesn’t mention Shaggy’s performance (yet), nor does his official site.

Shaggy and Gary Nesta Pine performed and presented their new single Fly High at the große Kipp Roll Fall Spektakel in Germany! Prosieben has photos of their performance (click on Klick Dich rein, then go [back] to pictures 135 and 137 or follow these direct links to photos of Shaggy and Gary Nesta Pine and Shaggy) as well as a video of the full show (Shaggy performed around 23:58h, near the end of the show, or so I read). Shaggy’s African tour, IRAWMA Marcus Garvy Humanitarian Award, Kofmehl and SeeFestTage photos and videos

Shaggy wins Marcus Garvey Humanitarian Award at the IRAWMA 2009
Shaggy was honored with the Marcus Garvey Humanitarian Award at the IRAWMA 2009 (International Reggae And World Music Awards) for his humanitarian work! Shaggy has been supporting the the Bustamente Hospital for Children in Kingston, Jamaica for years and he organized Shaggy & Friends, a huge benefit concert, for the hospital, he recorded a single with fellow Jamaican artists, Save a Life, for the cause and did much, much more. Congratulations on a well deserved award to Shaggy!

Shaggy’s African tour in May
Shaggy’s official Myspace has the following dates on which Shaggy will perform in Africa in May:

May 21 Fairground Holdings, Gaborone, Botswana
May 22 Harare Rainbow Towers, Harare, Zimbabwe – more info
May 23 Orange Karnival and Lugogo Cricket Oval, Uganda

This means both South African tour dates will probably not be taking place.

Botswana concert and tickets info
Shaggy will perform at Fair Grounds in Botswana on Ascension Day, May 21. He’s the first international artist to visit the country since Shabba Ranks’ visit in 1994! Tickets will only be sold before the concert from Orange shops for P220 and P440, starting April 24. Botswana Daily News.

Uganda concert info
Shaggy will perform in Uganda on May 23, at the Orange Karnival that starts at 9 am at Shoprite Lugogo. Later that day, Shaggy will also perform at the afterparty at the Lugogo Cricket Oval at 4 pm. Shaggy’s official Myspace confirmes this new tour date! You can find more info and view a picture of Shaggy at Uganda Online.
