Shaggy for CD for the Troops V
Shaggy, John Ondrasik, Train, Chicago, REO Speedwagon and a few other artists have teamed up to give thanks to soldiers, airmen, sailors, marines and their families by contributing a song to CD for the Troops V! This CD is available free for a million service members and their legal dependents with a valid military ID. They can order their copy here.
Shaggy, who served in the Marines during the first Gulf War, contributed his 2011 song Soldier’s Story to CD for the Troops V! Soldier’s Story is one of the songs on Shaggy’s Grammy nominated album Summer in Kingston.
Newly added upcoming tour dates
Shaggy will be in Dubai on April 7 and a second concert in Portugal in May has been added! Shaggy will also perform at a benefit concert for Connie Campbell with Tarrus Riley, Dean Fraser, Duane Stephenson and Sherita Lewis backed by the Blak Soil Band on April 18 in Maryland, US.
Connie Campbell Foundation concert
The Maryland concert on April 18 is a benefit show for backup singer Connie Campbell, who suffered multiple strokes resulting in locked-in syndrome. The concert is to raise funds for therapy.
