December 8 – Shaggy is currently in Ireland to promote his new 2007 album Intoxication. Tonight at 9.55pm Mister Lover Lover will be on Tubrity Tonight on RTE One, where show host Ryan Tubridity will interview him as well as Irish acting legend David Kelly, ‘The Afternoon Show’s Blathnaid Ni Chofaigh, ‘Nob Nation’ star Oliver Callan and ‘Fair City’ duo Dave Duffy and ‘Fair City Sings’ Sorcha Furlong. December 9 – Shaggy and Rayvon opened the stage for Mr Vegas in a surprise performance at Workers Comp Afterwork Thursday at Dirty Disco with HOT97FM’s Jabba, Bobby Konders and Mr Cee on December 6. You can view some pictures here.

Shaggy performed at the Turn on the Pop at the large Live and Loud KL07 festival in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, yesterday. Shaggy’s concert was awesome according to everyone I heard or read from so far, he really got the crowd dancing and the party started. There’s a video of Shaggy performing Hope last night at the LNLKL07 below, it looks and sounds like a hot show to me as well!
Shaggy designs NIKEiD Dunk Low

Tour dates
Shaggy is performing today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the LIVE & LOUD KL 2007. Andy Francis Anggi has pics of the tickets and a flyer for today’s Turn of the Pop featuring among others Shaggy, Whitney Houston and Elliot Yamin. As for other tour dates, here’s more info about Shaggy’s December 16 concert at the Mc Neal Entertainment ‘Beacharama’ in Splashmin’s Fun Park in Guyana. Shaggy will headline the concert and Destra Garcia, Rikki Jai and Natural Black will also perform.
Shaggy designs for NikeID Footwear and MTV Staying Alive
MTV and NIKE are working together to raise money for HIV and AIDS education and prevention through a worldwide online celebrity auction. Shaggy, Snoop Dogg, Craig David and Kelly Rowland designed Nike Dunk Lows at this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards, of which one pair will be auctioned for the anti-HIV/AIDS cause. You will be able to find more info at the MTV / NIKE Ebay page.

There are also other new Shaggy photos at Rex Features from an event earlier last month. As for other events, Shaggy also attended the launch of the NIKE Jordan Melo M4 basketball shoe in New York last night and maybe his designing for NIKE might be related to the NIKE event Shaggy will be attending next week in either Holland or Ireland (there are two countries listed for the event but no further details were announced – I got a couple of questions as to time and date but none here has any specific answers, sorry guys – when / if there’s more info it will also be posted on this site).

Shaggy performed at the Universal City Walk in Hollywood to promote his new 2007 album Intoxication. He also met up with fans and signed albums. The Jamaica Gleaner interviewed Shaggy about his new album Intoxication. Although promotion for the album started late, everything is going well, according to Shaggy. His favourite song on his new album is Woman Scorn and he also likes What’s Love featuring Akon, Mad, Mad World feat. Sizzla Kalonji and Collie Buddz and Outta Control ft. Rayvon a lot. As for the near future, Mr Boombastic will shoot a video clip for his upcoming single What’s Love and have a couple of more music videos hit the streets in Jamaica. Next year he’ll start touring. More upcoming tour dates in New York, Jamaica and Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Shaggy will make a club appearance for Hot97 FM’s Mister Cee on Thursday December 6. He’ll be in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, the next day on Friday December 7 for a NIKE event. On December 1 Shaggy is to perform at the Live & Loud 2007 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and according to the Jamaica Observer and Events In876 he will also be the patron for Bus’ Big in Jamaica. Shaggy’s Southern US Intoxication album release party Yard Flex.com reports that Shaggy and Rik Rok celebrated the release of Shaggy new 2007 album Intoxication at Florida’s Saw Grass Mills Mall at a party hosted by FYE Music. They performed live “Shaggy demonstrated why he is indeed one of Jamaica’s most celebrated cultural figures” and hung out with fans.
