June 27 - Shaggy dubs in Italy on Monday, live on MTV TRL today
Shaggy had a dub session in Milan on Monday (see Bashment and Heavy Hammer). I haven't been able to find a link to listen to it afterwards but who knows...you just might get it.
Also, Shaggy will present the Italian MTV Total Request Live show today. Featured artists besides Shaggy on this week's show are Paola and Chiara, Vanilla Sky and Ghosts. If you receive Italian MTV... enjoy, if not... catch it on Overdrive or elsewhere! The Boombastic show will at least feature the Intoxicating reggae vibes from Church Heathen and Mr Lover Lover himself.
June 26 - Shaggy in Italy
Shaggy is in Italy today to perform at a very exclusive invitation-only show at La Rythmoteque in Milan. The invitation reads that "Shaggy has decided to have a party where he will present material from his new album". He'll be performing at La Rithmoteque, as well as Italian reggae act Twofingerz.
June 25 - FunkMaster Flex Custom Car and Bike Show Pics and Much More
Shaggy and Elephant Man represented at FunkMaster Flex's Custom Car and Bike Show, which was also attended by FunkMaster Flex himself of course, as well as Fat Joe, Ice-T, LL Cool J, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Fabolous, Clark Kent and Angie Martinez to name a few (full gallery here). I also found a couple of radio promos/interview, news paper articles and even a very recent video, but I have 5 essays to write so come back for more Shaggy stuff later.
Plus: I can promise you that a certain very cool radio show that'll be broadcast next Saturday will feature not just one but two new Shaggy songs, one of them I knew about for some time but I hadn't mentioned on here yet. Shaggy, Buju Banton, Cocoa Tea, Elephant Man, Supa G, Mime and more will perform on the 10th Annual Caribbean Sea Breeze Festival in Long Beach, California, on July 22.

June 22 - Shaggy in Da’Ville’s remix Always on My Mind music video
Shaggy makes an appearance in the new video clip by Da'Ville featuring Sean Paul for the remix of Always on My Mind. The video was shot two-and-a-half weeks ago by Ras Kassa in Port Royal and tells the tale of a love that although it isn't always perfect, their loves are always on the artists' minds. As soon as a decent copy of the video is online, I'll link it on here!
Fun fact: did you know Shaggy and Da'Ville share the same first name (Orville)?

Shaggy, Jimmy Cliff and Wyclef Jean entertained the audience at the Metro World Concert in Washington D.C. on June 19, among whom were US Secrety of State Condoleezza Rice and Jamaican Prime Minister Portia Miller. Condoleezza Rice visibly enjoyed the concert and was seen moving to Shaggy's performance of Luv Me Luv Me. Jamaican PM Portia Miller was singing along to Strength of a Woman and Oh Carolina, and Shaggy shouted "Big up PM" to her during the concert. More? @ the Washington Post and Hard Beat News.

Shaggy's new song Move Hype, that was broadcast on BBC Radio 1Xtra and KISS FM a couple of weeks ago, will be released on the Panty Town riddim, which was produced by Sting International and also includes songs by Daville, Collie Buddz and Screechie Dan. June 14 - Concert tour update: Metro World Concert
June 19 - Shaggy, Wyclef Jean, the Ska-Talites and Plunky & Oneness will perform on the Kennedy Center's South Plaza Stage in Washington. This event is staged in conjunction with the "Conference on the Caribbean," and precedes the annual DC Caribbean Carnival. More info.
June 13 Part II - Shaggy, Enrique Iglesias, Xzibit, Good Charlotte, Kelly Rowland and MTV Switch for climate change
Tomorrow, MTV Networks International will launch MTV Switch, a major climate change campaign aimed at slowing down the rate of global warming by encouraging their viewers to lower their carbon emissions and help save the planet. The campaign is designed to reach an audience of 1.5 billion people world wide across the MTV network of 55 local TV channels in 162 countries. Among others, a "green" Pimp My Ride special will air and also Nickelodeon will participate by showing kids what they can do to help decrease their family's energy consumption.
MTV produced PSAs (Public Service Anouncements) to connect with the audiences and show them how they can help lower their energy emission. The PSAs can be used by all other broadcasters free of costs and rights to serve this cause.
Among the celebrities participating to increase awareness for the initiative are Shaggy, Enrique Iglesias, Jojo, XZibit, Kelly Rowland, Sophie-Ellis Bextor, Rufus Wainwright and Good Charlotte. The campaign will encourage people to visit the yet to launch MTV Switch web site.
And speaking of the MTV website, whether or not M-TV likes to broadcast the original video for Church Heathen, you can watch it anyway on MTV Overdrive as well as other music channels, if you wanna see the video in an MTV contetxt.

Every time I go online I seem to find some more Shaggy in Dubai stuff :). This time it's something especially good: a video of the press conference! Shaggy was being his very charming self and answering questions as to what people can expect from his concert, the reason why he's releasing a new album, the record company shizzles, what kind of person he is and more. I bet you wanna see this.

Right now, Mr. Lover Lover is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a concert tomorrow night at the Life Music Festival in the Madinat Arena, which also features DJ Bliss. In an interview with the City Times there, published just 10 minutes ago - yeah I’m fast :), he tells about the last in his life. Intoxication is due for release in late August, as he says. The paper writes he has two sisters, a stepbrother and a cute dog called Sammy, although I'm not sure whether you should believe this Wikipedia info. He jokingly says he’s still single (yeah right - whatever!!). They also have a picture of him up and some more content. So if you want to know more, go read the article!

There have also been articles claiming Shaggy will be performing in Eindhoven, the Netherlands and in Sao Paolo, Brasil soon, but I have no idea of whether it's actually "Mr Lover Lover Shaggy", "DJ Shaggy" or someone else performing. Since I can't tell you whether these events actually involve Mr Boombastic or not I'm not including them here - not yet anyway :).
