Shaggy is one of the artists featured on the new song and video I Am Jamaica, which will be released on Saturday July 17!
I Am Jamaica is the theme song for the I Am Jamaica campaign, aimed at furthering change and accountability in support of a unified and better Jamaica.
The video for the theme song was recorded in Miami and Jamaica and directed by Lukkee Chong and Max Earle of Frame by Frame Productions. Hopeton Lindo (who produced the song), Shaggy, Freddie McGregor, Marcia Griffiths, Courtney John, Peter Gee, Fiona, Sophia Brown and Anthony Cruz are the artists featured in the song.
July 13 - Bulgarian press conference
While in Bulgaria for shooting his new music video with Costi Ionita and Andrea (Sahara), Shaggy told the press how much he enjoyed to be in Bulgaria. He said he admired Costi's and Andrea's level of professionalism and is hoping their second project together will be successful, as was their first collaboration I Wanna, which is one of the summer hits of 2010.
