Shaggy wins Marcus Garvey Humanitarian Award at the IRAWMA 2009<\/b><\/u>
\nShaggy was honored with the Marcus Garvey Humanitarian Award at the IRAWMA 2009 (International Reggae And World Music Awards) for his humanitarian work! Shaggy has been supporting the the Bustamente Hospital for Children in Kingston, Jamaica for years and he organized Shaggy & Friends, a huge benefit concert, for the hospital, he recorded a single with fellow Jamaican artists, Save a Life, for the cause and did much, much more. \nShaggy will perform at Fair Grounds in Botswana on Ascension Day, May 21. He’s the first international artist to visit the country since Shabba Ranks’ visit in 1994!
